„WIFI campfire -

how to move when

the world is burning?“

This work in progress tackles the question of how to be a world citizen in the age of climate change. In the past traveling required some resting time and encounters with other travelers. The weary travelers might have gathered around a campfire after a long day on the road and even, sung together. Today's fast travel options have made the world a smaller place, but at what cost?

Spectators are invited to consider emission-free modes of travel and gather around the WIFI campfire.

I am a small village girl and a wannabe world citizen. My driving force for this project is my own climate change anxiety. I would like to scrutinize climate matters and their impacts on dramaturgical practice, (already) precarious artistic work and on life in general.
