„Settling“
is a performance installation about parks with two performers. The performance handles the park as a site where nature is tamed and governed and as a site for free time. The performance assumes that there are no ways of governing without slippages and over- and un-growth; the boundaries between nature and the public space are wavering and disappearing.
"Settling" refers to settling (one's nerves) or settling (down in a place of civilization).
The performance is performed in Finland in summer 2020.
